ya, it might be because I'm older, and remember the internet before algorithms existed. When people were actual people having meaningful conversations. nice to each other even. Once algorithms took over, I never got seen. So this place is a bit of a safe haven for me.

I have a rule, I try to come on here and re post 5 interesting art works a day, and I try to comment on at least 2 a day. Sometimes more if I have the time. Something uplifting, or positive. I wish this was something more people did. I think this site could benifit from it. 4/4

It is frustrating, because I do see other artists posting for about a year, not understanding and giving up thinking its them. There have been posts about encouraging more interaction. But its like you cant force someone to talk and comment. Some artists really struggle with it. 3/4

Bluesky devs have described it as algorimic choice. Meaning you get to pick what you see here. Going to the discovery tab, finding following feeds, using hashtags of your interest will help. interact with those posts, comment and share with them what you have. It takes a little bit more work. 2/4

Oh no your good. Its good to understand, bluesky works different then other social media sites. It embraces how older social media worked before toxic algorithm trends started to pop up. For many here, because its slower its more appealing. 1/4
