Damnit I haven't thought about my Big Wheels in years 🧓

Jacqueline Antonovich

"If you watched new episodes of “Scooby Doo” on Saturday morning, rebuilt Colonel Steve Austin or rocked a Big Wheel down the block, you may want to talk to your doctor about getting re-vaccinated for measles."

Happy NJ Day to all who celebrate! Fun facts: 🌊NJ hosts the highest concentration of oceanside boardwalks in the world 🫐 It ranks 2nd in blueberry production & 3rd for cranberries 🏙️ It's the only state where every county is designated as urban by the Census If you don't love NJ, that's okay:

As someone who spends a *lot* of time thinking about outcomes based contracting: this was entirely avoidable. The state could have established a maximum payout (that it could afford) upfront. Part of the point of OBC is to build trust between parties by holding up your end of the bargain.

Bryan Edward Stone (שָׁלוֹם)

Texas created an outcomes-based funding model for community colleges. Students and colleges outperformed expectations, so now the state wants to change the rules so they don't have to pay what they promised. www.texastribune.org/2026/07/22/t...

EdReports has a lot of sway in the curriculum space. Ordinarily that degree of influence would come with some criticism. Why am I not seeing much in Google Scholar? Am I missing something obvious?

what the hell is the deal with these reports that you "download" but they're still just on a webpage? Like why??? Stop tormenting me, I just want to be able to read the damn thing on the plane.

A+ job, everyone. Looks like nearly all the support stemmed from a single form letter; the opposition understood the assignment.
