Not law school, but tax related. I have a Canadian CPA, but I trained as a CGA. Tax 2 was an optional course meant for those planning on doing public practice, which had been my plan. Tax 1 had been a cakewalk - ALL my courses to then had been a cakewalk. Tax 2 was different. 1/n

What Ukraine did, was fabricate fake codes, that when Russians bought them to purchase petrol… it was actually going to a donation fund to help Ukraine’s war efforts against Russia😂
Most of my friends have been good - but that makes the ones who haven’t been stand out so much more. And that’s on top of the microaggressions of organizers not thinking of my disabilities when organizing get-togethers, or suggesting that *I* find the place that accommodates. With what energy?

This. I have not like all of Carney’s choices, especially some of the cuts, but I definitely do not like when he appears to be appeasing Trump. OTOH, he can’t exactly say out loud what the strategy is all the time. My trust wavers some days.

Yup. I’m a bourbon girl. Have been for years. Until Trump and his minions stop being assholes to Canada, no bourbon in my house. I’m enjoying trying Canadian bourbon style whiskies and experimenting with other Canadian whisky to get those flavours. Eby could allow sales tomorrow and I’m saying no.
