Last night Russia once again deliberately targeted Ukrainian civilians in their homes with ballistic missiles, likely including missiles supplied by Russia's ally North Korea. The Kremlin's tactics change, but deliberate murder of civilians has been a feature of their invasion from the beginning.

If Trump follows through with his threat, it will be a major test of Europe's sovereignty. We're confident that the EU will stand firm in defence of its rights to ensure that tech companies - no matter how big - that operate in the EU obey its laws. Can Trump afford a trade war of choice?

The Times corrects its false claim about care workers from Cameroon, but the damage is likely done. As Burnham prepares to unveil a new plan for adult social care, it would by nice to think that making sure we can recruit sufficient numbers of care workers would be a priority.
