This chapter is so so good- really getting into the heart of the way Ed and Stede are seeing each other like nobody else has really seen either of them before. The way they connect and understand each other's hurts and struggles is one of my favourite things in the show and it is here, too.

I think I'll be finishing on July 53rd so after that I'll be diving right in. July is a state of mind 😌

20. Gripping story lines, characters I care about, great pacing, solid world building. (This tells you nothing but it's hard to describe - like pornography I know it when I see it)

19. Well, I've only ever read three pages of wolf hall? I tried when I didn't have much brain. I'm pretty easy to please generally as long as a book is clear about what it is. There are certainly books that I didn't fall in love with (I think I need to reread this is how you lose the time war).

18. Yeees I do like historical books although I guess those sort of span a lot of genres so it depends on the book (I have still never read wolf hall).

15. The greenhollow duology by Emily Tesh is a gorgeous little love story steeped in green man mythology, folklore and two people who are pining terribly, and an angry dryad.
