I'm of two minds about this: 1.) On substance, AES is 100% right. Vance's 'legacy American' hierarchy is repulsive and, yes, it does suggest his own children are 'less' American than others. 2.) OTOH: AES's job is to win an election in a purple state and saying shit like this won't help.
