This is exactly the type of BS that will stop once the Democrats control either the House and or the Senate. Immediate hearings on false statements like this and demanding an answer under oath. He would either have to admit he was lying or commit perjury.

Makes sense. Eliminate mail-in voting and then make it twice as hard to vote in democratic-leaning jurisdictions by limiting the number of polling places (or eliminating them altogether).

I had the exact same thought. Of course, Trump was merely trying to convince/threaten Iran, in an attempt to preserve his own skin.

I believe the answer is twofold: they literally fear for the safety of themselves and their families if they cross Trump, and they see no political gain in doing so.
