I recognize their symptoms have their own challenges, like they’re less likely to be perceived as “depressed” and may have a harder time with access to care or acknowledging they need care but they get to keep their jobs

I’m sometimes so jealous of my friends who have symptoms that allow them to participate in a way society approves of, like friends who bury themselves in work when they’re depressed. I’m depressed as hell too but I can’t work when I’m in an episode and it puts me at risk of losing a job/care/etc.

I made this glasses holder for my mom when she requested I make her something. I went down a hook size too late which is why the sides bow out in the middle but not bad for a first try! I’m making another for my dad but I snapped my wood crochet hook so I need to get a new one.

I feel this way about other media too. I remember watching Iron Man 3 in theaters and thinking “are movies ever good actually?”

This feels disingenuous. No one is saying “no data centers ever,” they’re saying “we don’t need all these new data centers for a technology no one wants that is being used for unethical purposes, accelerating environmental drain, and might not even exist at the forecasted capacity”. Be for real.

When I take mine off or turn off the sound canceling while the plane is still in the air I am always shocked at how loud the plane noise alone is. A good investment for sure.
