Yeah... and sadly, they can get considerably bigger than this. We have seen individual fires that were over three times that large. My heart aches at what large fires must be like in countries which are largely unprepared for them. 44C with wildfire smoke is a recipe for mass casualties.

Has anyone been able to come up with some kind of "individual climate loss/adaptation" calculator. I imagine something like the (cursed!) carbon footprint calculator but instead of calculating carbon usage, it calculates your personal climate change-related costs?
