I really hope people haven't gotten comfortable with the insane fact that the Trump administration keeps breaking the law by acting in defiance of Congress's appropriations powers. It violates the Constitution and should be a much, much bigger deal.

Your homegrown fruits and veggies are fine! The parasite comes from plants that were contaminated with infected water in mass agricultural settings. In other words, poopy water got sprayed on them or farmworkers had to relieve themselves nearby, and the parasite got on the food.

I wouldn't rely on that list--we don't yet know if all of Taylor Farms's products are contaminated, and there are likely other sources as well beyond this particular lettuce.
