Greenpoint, Brooklyn, 2026       Had the Jack Toolin over for a print exchange. I have always loved his pictures of the Financial District, so now I've got one. He picked out one of of my Richmond Monument Avenue images. We made the prints right here on my Epson P900.

Trenton, New Jersey, 2026 – © Brian Rose       An architectural gem. What I love is the intentionality of it. The careful placement of off-the-shelf elements – even decorative quoins on the corners. The green stucco and yellow trim. The oval windows, faux window mullions. All in perfect balance.

Trenton, New Jersey, 2026 – © Brian Rose      Today I was in Trenton, New Jersey, scouting a building I'm shooting for an architect. We were walking around together looking for angles, when I got somewhat off the track and started taking pictures of this little architectural gem.

Berlin, 1985 – © Brian Rose     This corner was the location of the Nazi SS-Gestapo headquarters. Rubble from bombed buildings was piled up on the site. You could rent a little car without a license and drive the winding dirt paths through the "hills."

Berlin, 2026 – © Brian Rose     A field of rye adjacent to a chapel bult on the site of the Reconciliation Church that stood on Bernauer Strasse. It was blown up by the East German government in 1985 just weeks before I arrived to make photographs of the Wall.
