I just can't get how people would get any joy out of using AI to write. I mean, I used to write the occasional pastiche of HP Lovecraft stories when I was in my 20's, but that experience actually helped me to learn to write, where as that person would have no real writing experience.

Farscape had an entire vocabulary of replacement swear words. They were really creative in doing so, and you knew exactly what words they were by how they were used.

Tesla's sales numbers have always been fraudulent. Adding in "pre-orders" at first and then "internal sales" now. Without gov't subsidies Tesla would go bankrupt. One day the stock market will catch up and Musk will lose everything.

We see one or two Wank Panzers on the road here, but only because there is a Tesla dealership a mile down the road. Those we see are probably being driven by people from the dealership. The same 10 sit on that lot and have for a couple of years.

As a kid one of my dreams was to someday go to my local library, go to the shelves, find MY book, and look at the little card inside with the names of the people who had taken it out.

Wife and I were talking about this yesterday. We bought current house 11 years ago. Mortgage rate 3.25%. Since then the value of the house has more than doubled, and so has the mortgage rate. A young family today could never afford to buy it.
