Heads up, the Midtown Greenway will be closed from Aug 3-7 for 10th Ave for bridge work and for CenterPoint Energy utility work (around 13th and 14th Aves). These were scheduled together to minimize closures. The detour is on 28th St from Park Ave S to 18th Ave S. #MidtownGreenway

We need more 24 hour stores. I have a smoke alarm beeping due to low battery and realized I'm out of 9V batteries 😩

I saw a train on the greenway tonight! I'm declaring that if you bike past a train on the greenway, you'll have good luck for the week.

The Lyndale Ave reconstruction was approved 8-4 at the Minneapolis City Council meeting this morning! We've been working on this #LivableLyndale effort for over three years and believe this new street design will be a great improvement to the area. I hope that Mayor Frey will approve too.

Watch us truly feel the conditions of Lyndale Ave as we ride over broken asphalt. The street needs to be reconstructed, and I hope city council will approve the layout tomorrow.

I got to the Pillsbury Ave bridge demolition a little earlier this evening. The piers look cool with the rebar fanning out of the tops. I think the piers will remain in place and get capped over (like the 10th Ave bridge replacement)?

This is the second heavy rain and hailstorm I've had to take shelter under a tree for in the last few years. I found a better tree this time!#mnwx

Brian’s bike in the rain

It looks like the ramp from the Midtown Greenway to 1st Ave is starting to be installed. There is a concrete footing and a couple layers so far of concrete "Lego" bricks. The first two photos are from 5/21 and the second two from 5/26.

Art-a-Whirl is so great, so much good local art, and I ran into seven different friends this afternoon/evening just by chance. A top Minneapolis weekend!

The bump outs in The Wedge are making good progress! The sidewalks are open at 26th St at Dupont and Emerson Aves.
