But I'm a little suspicious anyone who says that Millie is just a one note character or that Vaggi is reduced to just a stereotype or Charlie is annoying and boring, etc. because while I think you can have whatever opinion on anything, I just think we've parsed different information from the show.

Like, I talked about this recently but I feel more people need to understand that they don't have to like everything about a piece of media in order to love it - and that just because a piece of media isn't perfect to them, doesn't mean it's heinous garbage. Things can just... not be their taste.

People *are* silly! There's this misconception that all rep must be perfect rep and if the characters aren't perfect and the story doesn't hold your hand, then it's the failing of the author. And the fact that your average viewer has a lot of main character energy for an audience member.

This is what I’ve noticed 😭 It drove me insane when I pointed out that (in season one at least) Vaggi literally had more to her character than alastor I was mocked even though I was right. Sera alone has more to her than a majority of the male characters People are silly

Does Vivzie struggle writing women or are people less likely to lend patience to the women characters than the men? I've always had the stance that the misogyny is coming from inside the viewer and people really hate that.
