Hey, maybe instead of paying $600M to renovate the Moda Center at the whim of a private enterprise that refuses to give detail on what it will be spent on, the State, County, and City should spend that EXACT amount of money to buy a 15% stake in the team and become the majority governor.

I've been writing and podcasting about the Blazers for over a decade. I completely agree.

The league has to get rid of this Dundon guy. He bought the Blazers to hold the city of Portland hostage for arena money and now he's telling all of his underlings to shittalk the city so he can move to Kansas City or something. Cut this shit out or the league will be held hostage by similar ghouls.

City Council did really well and it was a decidedly good moment for them as a body.

...pretty damn good!!! Pleasantly surprised, councilors were disciplined and restrained, and asked good, direct questions. They seemed to understand they only had a limited amount of time and respected it. B+ Could have had a united message / phrase but really they did great.
