More recently, a nonprofit called Successful Practices Network (SPN) has also posted teaching positions at Dilley. One of SPN's board members is Kevin P. Chavous, President of Academics, Policy, and Schools at Stride, Inc. 4/4

The for-profit ed company Stride (formerly K12) will run the "school" at ICE's South Texas Family Residential Center operated by CoreCivic. Stride has been accused of inflating enrollment w/ “ghost students,” overloading teachers, neglecting required services, and lying to districts and investors.

An independent monitor "found 13 areas of deficiency in CoreCivic’s healthcare program in California City. Among them were inadequate emergency care, dental care and chronic disease management. The monitor also found that the facility did not provide timely access to prescribed medications."

A judge sent a doctor to evaluate California's largest ICE detention center. What he found Immigration and Customs Enforcement quickly opened a new detention center in a former California state prison last year. Detainees now are suing over their access to healthcare.

Citizens Bank has faced significant pushback for providing more than $2.5 billion in financing to CoreCivic and the GEO Group, two private prison companies that work directly with ICE. Now it has severed its financial ties both companies, after pressure from social justice organizations.

Stephen Miller said just the other day that all asylum claims are "fake." A couple deported from the U.S. to Guatemala were gagged, bound, and shot dead. Their 14-month old found crying next to their mother's body. People like Miller don't care though because this is the point: ethnic cleansing.
