Resorting to nasty Chemicals usually resolves these kind of blockages I get. Admittedly I'm pretty lazy on the AB hygiene front. But I do find using Tamiya finishing compound on the needle extends my hygiene-laziness a bit. But ultimately it's nasty chems and ultrasonic baths for deep cleans.

I enjoyed system shock2 on the pc back in 99. It was supposed to be remastered and re-released on console but this has stalled. The game was tough 1st person rpg not to dissimilar to DeusEx. Which was awesome in my rose tinted gaming memory 😄 I do feel your pain though we're gamers of a certain era!

I have this kit. I fancied building several fleet air arm subjects. I've currently have in progress a swordfish and fulmar. And unstarted- a wildcat and barracuda which is fully of chunky engineering gorgeousness!

Definitely the smart move, I've a load of spare decals mostly stencils. And out of sight out of mind in my book. I never understand those build with hugely detailed interiors and when closed up nothing is visible. Each to their own I suppose.

Hi, I think what you've done looks fine to me, it's what I do. If sprays does get past, I typically repaint the affect parts with a brush. I use this patch up a lot, even fine over spray say on a wing camouflage demarcation. I few thin washes of the same colour hides it well enough, for me anyway🙂

#histscalemodels #scalemodeling #scalemodels Nationalist decals completed. The decals are weird and tend to curl at the edges, I've glued down the curled areas with gloss varnish. It's time to re-focus on the Republican paint scheme and it's finer mottled type camouflage effect and get it's decals

#histscalemodels #scalemodeling #scalemodels Decalling commencement. These decals are slightly transparent and they tend to curl up at the edges. I think I'll take this process nice and slowly with sol & set application but only a couple of decals per Session. Will seal them before moving on.
