The attack surface is bigger and the ease with which one can attack is higher. The payoff is better with more potential buyers for things like accounts and server access. The attacks are more likely to pay off with more carelessly deployed services.

If your quality gates are such that they fully define every part of the software, then they are the definition of the software and can replace it. If like me you used some AI to help make the tests, first be sure that the test does what you think it does. Any test can pass with enough stubs.

"What is this like" is probably the best way to do it. Often the issue I find is people want task estimation because they want to shop through for the cheap tasks. But if I put "plant a flag" one point, and assume you're already on the moon, that task can't stand alone!

What takes time in dev isn't writing the code, it's the grind of working out what to do with an often intractable problem. I worked with a colleague for over a week on an issue that turned out to be an HTTP library that sent POST when you said PATCH. How can you forecast that?

Can you imagine if cars were capped to walking speed unless the driver had to pedal an exercise bike? Would it be safer? It'd definitely be funny. Ideally there'd be a fixed ratio so you have to pedal at like 130rpm to hit 80km/h or something.

The real reason issue with game preservation is my physical body will degrade and fail rendering me unable to enjoy any format.

I gave up on it years ago. Everyone just writes the same crap with "as a blank I want to <insert exact implementation details>" and they aren't going to change. "As a user I want the site to perform a PCKE flow and get a bearer token." It's just the magic incantation to make a Dev do a thing now.
