Incredible. If there’s anything “good” about this, it’s that the people with power in DC are having to experience it as well (even if briefly as they move from armored car to office). Like the exhaust of Detroit smothering the US both in metaphor and reality. Maybe, it will help right their ways.

Currently trying to enjoy NYC with my family, but the AQI is nearly 200. We’re supposed to move on to visit my parents where it’s 500! That’s as bad as it ever was in CA. Any one of these experiences would have been a strong childhood memory for me, but my kids now have two.
