oh and the art and music were excellent. y'all already knew that, but it should still be said even if it was expected. and yuzo koshiro did two tracks for it too, which is cool as fuck!!

anyway yes, an excellent and ambitious game. not entirely perfect but the improvements i wanted over it might just be me being spoiled by Hollow Knight / Silksong giving the player so much agency and now i just expect it. hope there's some dlc! id love to see the game from Thorne's perspective.

it has a very dark sense of humour and is sometimes very macabre for a game with a cute mouse. i imagine some people might have trouble stomaching some of the games crueller moments, but it didn't bother me so much, even if it did make me go "Jesus fucking CHRIST" several times over.

i love a game where you get to be like "hm. does this work" and then you try something nuts and it does. or you're fucking around with trinkets and find out they have a weird combo. it's cool and fun, tons of replay value, especially with it being as non-linear as you want it to be.

finished mina! couple of collectibles left to grab but credits reached. not sure how much i enjoyed the ending, i wish you could affect things more in terms of the story, but the game itself is fantastic. loved the area gimmicks and finding all the secrets, by Nox's Bayou i was flying through it.

oh, huh! yeah that's a slightly odd design choice. i hope you get used to it! i just have the eraser bound to a toggle button on the tablet itself, so if it stays being an issue for you maybe you could try that?

ah, admittedly mine doesn't have an eraser on the pen so i don't have experience with that! is it something you can tweak with settings or is it the physical feel of it?

oh lovely!! i hope it treats you well, i picked up the artist 15.6 for cheap a few years ago and i love it. xp-pen are super underrated!
