If he was the majority leader again in2027 he would certainly block Trump’s judicial picks. He wouldn’t be able to do anything else. And unless they blow up the filibuster (big mistake), what a a senate majority leader can do to “reform” the court is limited.

And you are wrong - McConnell was majority leader so he could block appointments. When he blocked appointments as a minority leader, they changed the rules to get around him.

That senator was the majority leader. Democrats changed the rules on judges so it only takes 51 votes for judicial appointments. If it were still 60, Schumer would have control. Now) he doesn’t.
