The Sheep Detectives was a lot smarter than I was expecting with some genuinely moving scenes about grief, dealing with trauma and the perils of toxic positivity. Also, sheep are very strange looking animals. Especially in CGI. Some of them tip towards the lamb of the Ghent Altarpiece.

It sucks that so much of our media in Canada is the same syndicated material put out by the handful of monopolies. We're losing coverage not only of local politics, but local arts & culture.
