2/2 Our happy puppy boy usually looks like a Wookie so his summer doo is always fun.

Keeping hope & honor & truth alive. It's our responsibility & our duty. We owe it to our children & their children. Our democratic goal is just & deserves we do our part to keep the hope alive. Do not let them prevail or steal your hope & conviction for a better life for All. Si se puedeStay Strong

Still the best speech in the LOTR trilogy. And feels extremely relevant to the times we live in. A lot of days do feel this hopeless.

Larry David's acting style in his new American History program is just too much of him yelling. A much better choice is hilarious and cleverly accurate Drunk History. (Unfortunate current streaming options though.)

@timothysnyder.bsky.social Heard you speak often about "On Tyranny". Local independent bookstore had them sitting at the register like grocery stores place products for impulse buying. I finally got my own copy. I wanted to support them, you and Democracy. Finished Prologue already inspired. Thanks

First viewing attire for watching Star Wars (highly edited). Husband was working late so for bedtime and preparation to watch I figured getting to feel like a Rebel Pilot would be appropriate. May the Force be with you.

For those experiencing extremely hot weather - here's a cooling memory of the Empire State Building on a foggy evening.

Loved this one and would often quote it, especially when I could see someone reacting to something that was said with that same look of "Beeeeeep". (It does not compute and is illogical.)

It’s the episode with Spock talking the chatbots into an endless loop to make them crash

Please support reading & content that actually engages your brain. "Reality TV" isn't, re-makes of successful programs instead of creating new ideas, propaganda without substance, etc. are all lazy and unacceptable. Reading for depth, information & critical reasoning skills are worth saving.

We might not be able to pay attention to *anything* that takes more than a second or two to consume. (But surely you can read the whole piece after taking in this social media post.) ICYMI @sonnybunch.bsky.social:
