The 2nd sentence of this snippet of UEFA’s response to FIFA (the whole of which is fantastic) reminds me of Thatcher & everything she sold off - resulting in high utility & rail prices, dirty rivers & water shortages and a huge welfare bill as we pay market rent instead of using houses we owned.

Mr “can’t be bothered to hold constitucy surgeries” aka Mr “attended 1 out of 42 EU fisheries committee meetings when I was a member” now fakes outrage at not being invited to attend a meeting…on top of the fact he’s not even a fucking MP right now - he resigned to get “permission” for corruption!

So the Tories are fine with fixing social care so long as it costs nothing or money is taken from somewhere else to fund it - turning the something else to shit no doubt & just making different people suffer. Anyone remember this penny pinching attitude to Brexit or Covid contracts for their mates?
