On I-84 in CT a strap holding my kayaks broke, sending my 12' kayak bouncing across 4 lanes of traffic. Guy in a van stopped & not only helped get it off the hwy, he took it & my other yak to his house until I could pick them up. When I did he refused $$ & gave me apples & water for the drive home.
