No concrete data, just based on constant developers speaking how game pass impact sales. You can have good revenue with Game Pass, but you will need a large success in playtime and a limited budget, and is not reality. Microsoft just thinked that player base will grow, and this not happened

It's sad, but Game Pass Killed Doom. Eternal probably was profitable, but for a tiny amount. Dark Ages was a loss, and Game Pass helped a lot to reduce the revenue. Even players from others platforms avoid buying GP games, like "why paying for some that is 'free' in other console".

What you a seeing is like the dot.com bubble: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dot-com... The hype around internet generate a bubble and a slot of bad thing happened, a lot of company died. But the internet itself not died, and changed our life's, just not the way that hype said. Is the same with IA.

Prices are no going up because of IA usage. Is up because hype generated by IA company's that sell magic. Chinese studios are already making money by correctly using IA in development workflow as a tool. Don't mess up the thing with the hype, the hype is the problem.

For a game, it's nothing more than a tool. The problem is exactly people thinking that is more than a tool and generating hype and garbage(because they think it as a magic thing). Is a tool that consume a lot of resources, and create using stolen content. I use every day as a software develop.

I think is simple: IA is a tool, and if you rush your development without quality measure, you will have Game with poor experience, leading to poor sales/reviews. But chinese studios made many quality games with help of IA, and they sell well. So, in the end, IA itselfs means nothing, is quality.

And 3% is very risky due current gaming industries situation. Because the are failures everywhere, and it costs millions, so very little mistakes, and the thing fuck up.

The current install base of Xbox will never payoff the actual exclusives business, due high games budget. So this is a crazy idea, or is just probably a temporary approach to try to minimize the brand damage, but will launch later in PS5 anyway.
