This is deeply worrying and would amount to no less than trying to proscribe trans people for acts of self defence against a regime on the attack.

"Lord" Walney, AKA John Woodcock, is - outside of his authoritarian views - a racist who argued that Moazzam Begg should have his passport revoked for standing up for Gazans, and who left the Labour party after accusations of bullying and sexual misconduct. Why should anyone listen to him?

Tomorrow, Lord Walney, who was responsible in part for the proscription of Palestine Action, will publish an article in The Times arguing that BASH BACK be proscribed as a terrorist organisation. We will not be intimidated. Neither should you. xoxo BASH BACK
