Yup. Fauci was a lifelong Republican, and up until recently voted accordingly. There was nothing remarkable about his tenure other than that he was less insane. A dude who rips cocaine off a dubious surface AND uses his influence to protect my rights is worth more than one who doesn’t do either.

As far as I can tell, no progressive policing policy could have prevented what happened here. I’ll take the W anyway if it means we clean house, but I’m troubled that PR failures spark action rather than tangible misdeeds.

I’m not trying to be a Reply Guy here - I’m trying to emphasize that it shouldn’t take an unrelated mass casualty event to finally give the boot to someone who had demonstrated how unfit they were long beforehand.
