Just realized I haven't posted the #AugustWorldbuilders megacard yet. I wanted to go with dark background + white text this time. I moved my magic questions throughout the year to here and also moved the religious questions elsewhere so it wouldn't be redundant with Emily's prompt games.

so fun fact, my whole motivation for writing came from me infodumping on twitch while playing Skyrim. I had to take a break cause of vocal damage, but! I wanted to start streaming again as a sort of digital newsletter! I'll be streaming this Sunday; yapping abt my ocs and playing skyrim. Yay!

I had been reading @tinaduncan.bsky.social's The Weight of Magic when I wrote this and I wanted to be able to capture a small part of the dreamlike beauty she talks about magic in that book. I couldn't make it quite that wonderful, but I still think it has the sauce.

#SummerOfStories There's this scene in SP where Sahira tries to open Khamsin's mind to the idea that she'd been fed lies all her life, especially on the nature of magic and demons. It's the first time S breaks her terseness and allows herself a little flair, and I think it came out quite well.
