This new test is good news for those of us who are older and would not opt for a vaccine. Definitely would have taken it if they had it back in the day.

The new tests screen for HPV now. They didn’t before. Thus the 5 year gap now. Good news! Where I live we can do the tests at home and mail into the Cancer Society (all free). Not sure how many places have this option but I believe there will be more woman getting tested.
