Ne'er do well, sailor. The Jim Belushi of poasters. Biding my time. Every day and in every way, I’m trying to become a better Lieutenant Junior Grade. The Tree of Liberty must be refreshed from time to time.

What will we ever do without this strong, pointed, fascinating voice.

This WP shift towards personal liberty and feee markets is really paying off.

The Washington Post

Hoodies are the new T-shirts. But because a hoodie takes up considerably more space than a tee, kids’ collections are accumulating at a rate that’s exhausting their storage options — and exasperating their parents.

[record scratch] [freeze frame] Yup. That’s me, Meatsyphus You’re probably wondering how I ended up here pushing wheelbarrow after wheelbarrow of meat across the yard.

Find a picture of Jeanine Pirro where she doesn’t look drunk: impossible

Iran FM Abbas Araghchi says in call with Saudi counterpart that any U.S.-Israeli 'aggression' or involvement by regional countries will draw a 'decisive response.'

I’m absolutely shocked that the little hack from the Dispatch, the failing Jonah Goldberg site, who came into the WP OpEd section to bring “personal liberties and freedom” as a connective tissue to the section is now crashing out after less than a year. www.nytimes.com/2026/07/31/b...

Our long national nightmare search for a vandal-proof pool material is finally over.

Our government is rotting through from fascism. Incompetent hacks fight with each other under a cult of personality, over “sacred national monuments” and fight for the leader’s affections and attentions.

We are in a dark place.

John E. Sonntag

"Mr. Trump dismissed that assessment in a freewheeling cabinet meeting on Friday, saying: 'I don’t think so. I think Minnesota is behind it,' adding, 'I think the governor’s behind it. I don’t think there was an Iranian cyberattack.'" www.nytimes.com/2026/07/31/u...

The rats are fighting on the sinking ship. These people are so corrupt, stupid and incompetent, that an invented felony case around a botched-reflecting pool renovations caused them to have in-fighting and a fall-out, and we are watching them take us to war and run a $4 trillion govt.

Capital. One.

Bloomberg News

Capital One said in a court filing late Friday that it closed accounts belonging to President Donald Trump’s sprawling real estate company in 2021 for legitimate reasons after an internal review by the bank’s anti-money laundering team.

The VANDALS have asked Neo-Rome! The Empire has fallen.

Trump: “I disagree 100% with Jeanine Pirro on the Reflecting Pool. I don’t know what she was thinking? To me, it was a pure case of VANDALISM, that included the grass, which had a big 86 47 emblazoned …There may have been some contractor difficulty, but major damage was caused by VANDALS!”

And by “prioritizing blind ideological loyalty” what they mean, but don’t have the guts to admit is “blind personality cult” because it would be beyond absurd and ridiculous to claim the Trump MAGA Party has ANY ideological content or principles.

Cameron 🇺🇸🗽🦅

so many people still have their head stuck in the sand about a post-Trump GOP every Republican under the age of 30 has only ever known Trump-era politics, there is no possibility of a "return to normalcy"

I wonder if Iran attacking the US would be treated this calmly if it was a Dem president. Trump threatened to kill all Iranians and blow up their water supplies. And is bombing them. So Iran is attacking the homeland and disrupting water supplies and the Right is silent.
