This is NOT INFREQUENT amongst couples where the woman gets seriously ill/develops a degenerative/chronic illness. I’ve seen it amongst my circle of acquaintances. It’s everything to do with upbringing. Women are still seen as caregivers so anything that inverts that dynamic is emasculating. 🤮
