Bubsy is the video game equivalent of that one uncle who considered himself radical in the 80s and 90s but now just wants to smoke weed on his porch while watching a good thunderstorm

I’m starting to suspect that the “Open World” genre is actually just a ploy for AAA devs to make unfocused, unpolished, and unmemorable experiences that they can pass off as a complete product because the gameplay time is 100 hours (80 of which is spent walking from one place to the other)

Obviously there were a lot of hype announcements at the Nintendo Direct, but I want to give a special shout out to Rhythm Heaven, which is the best Nintendo series to go completely unrecognized by the wider public. I’m excited for the new entry in the series!
