I've started laying out Solver volume 2; I don't tend to look at things once they're done so the sheer density of it comes as a surprise. It's no wonder I wore myself out.

Remember when remixes used to appear in the charts with names like In The Air Tonight '88 or Fake '88? This was a short-lived trend but I feel like if we brought it back it would reverse climate change, end our divisive bipartisan politics, and send tech bros penniless back to their college dorms.

I've been doing some research for work and keep finding disparate old comics that I think I have accidentally reverse engineered for Solver. I really hope the readers of (roughly) 1970 get to see these made-for-them tales.

Just fun! There are plenty of characters in my cinematic universe who have yet to learn the skill of keeping their monologue internal.

A 250ml bottle of Original Source shower gel contains 7,927 mint leaves and costs about £1. A 30g packet of mint from Sainsburys costs 55p and contains about 50 mint leaves. By my calculations, the shower gel should cost at least £87.

I'll be playing the hits, one last time.

Have another sip, pet It's difficult to describe how pleased I was when I came up with Lottie popping out of the laundry basket. I'm always delighted when I can deliver a new kind of emergence. There's a recent NEMS comic where Esther emerges from some zig-zag curtains. I had that one on the back…

I believe that the youth of Scotland should feel free to indulge in nostalgic, Badfinger and Queen-influenced psychedelic pop music without being scrutinised by "legacy media".

I’ve designed the unofficial mascot of #smallpressday and my hope is that by 2027 Wibberley will be the official mascot of the event due to huge pressure from the community. If you have any questions about them, please ask, but bear in mind that any facetious questions will lead to you being hexed.

Pills…pills… Shelley's on the Advocaat, things are going from bad to worse. I think ideally there would have been a page between this one and the last one, or at least a caption, but back in the day I didn't really go for captions. I'm not sure why!

Someone asked me about my favourite books as a child and I named What A Mess In Summer by Frank Muir and Joseph Wright. Blank looks! I assume these books are completely forgotten now, but I remember them being very clever and charming.

I don't think Paws Inc should have allowed the creative approvals team to have wine with lunch on the last Friday of the month

I've really been enjoying Destination Kill by Joe Palmer for Oni Press - superb art and writing in a crazy near-future sci-fi series. I feel like if books that read as well as this aren't being talked about, there's no point making indie comics for the direct market any more.
