I'm glad we're agreed that O Brother, Where Art Thou is one of the finest adaptations. Amazing Soundtrack on top of that too.

Also I think the Anime adaptation is notably weaker than the Manga in terms of direction and animation, especially coming off of Golden Wind having a much stronger Anime adaptation.

Whilst I feel the back half picks up the slack, especially the the last third, that is absolutely Stone Ocean's biggest issue for me. Jolyne, Hermes and FF really should be the main trio but they barely get much together...and yeah I find Weather Report and Anasui kinda boring too lol.
