I never saw the second Indiana Jones movie because even at that age I could tell it would be terrible. But Goonies is *great* entertainment for 12 year olds. "And they got...CHOCOLATE ERUPTION!"

Goonies never say die, Chris. (I maintain Goonies is an objectively terrible movie, but if it came out when you were 12 - or if you first saw it when you were 12 - you are correct that it is in the pantheon of great films.)
