i love the idea of throwing around the phrase "social construct" as if to pretend everything that is core to who you are as you grow up has some secret mutable property. apparently whatever you're exposed to as a child has no lifelong effect on your brain's wiring

tangentially, even if you're dead-certain you have approval for side work AND have talked to your employer about it, make sure it's, uh. actually reflected in your employment contract, otherwise things can get a bit awkward lol
