Well, we’ll see. I think why she wants this is she’s growing out of watching things on a small laptop screen, she wants more than that now. My feeling is I’d rather put the €300 towards €900 than buy something ultimately inadequate, but it’s quite a lot of money, so decisions will have to be made!

Thanks Lugh! We were considering a cheap one as part of her (significant) birthday haul but to get a good one, would have to be big birthday+Xmas I think! Not sure my husband has the restraint for that - he likes folk to get lots of gifts to open, so sacrificing quantity for quality is hard for him!

Thanks Mik. It’s a completely new area for us, so trying to even get our heads around a spec is hard, so having a good core model to look at and note the details is really useful!

I reckoned it was trying to blacken SF’s name, by association with current government decisions, to lure away some of their supporters (definitely registered voters, unlike many of the disenfranchised the far right attract), positioning themselves as the only untainted nationalist option.
