the problem with "bring the player not the class" game design is that... a good way to bring a player is having to bring the class.

ff11 can be a hard game to enjoy playing, and i think some of the changes they've made lean away from the things i liked most but it still has a fundamental understanding that creating obstacles to be solved through cooperation is a strong heart for a multiplayer experience
