too many people have this idea that trans women were being rewarded for being men when in reality we were brutalized for every shred of femininity we had the nerve to scrape together and the woman you see as a result is all those scraps of femininity that she had to bleed for

Erin ReedI'm working on a story on this as well, but the takeaway out of this is that Mamdani's direct-care clinic will apparently ban trans youth from getting care, will only provide it to adults. This is because of fear of loss of federal funding. This is DIRECTLY the capitulation reason NYU/Sinai gave.

Could there be a better example of "the trans debate" than 98% of women supporting trans people and then one single lone person voting against them and getting their way regardless. It's all such a fucking sham
