Yes and critically many folks channeled this street protest/movement energy into more durable settings—electoral campaigns, reviving labor, founding tenants unions, the Debt Collective (ahem), Sunrise, and ofc we have to hand it to DSA. Mass mobilizations are key. So is longer term organizing.

This was a fun interview. To clarify Jacobin's summary, I don't think we *can* abandon the constitution entirely. There's no magic exit from the current political order. Instead, we need to be attuned to the questions of power, clear eyed about the opposition, and open to democratic possibilities.
