🧵 for a couple of years now (say since fall of 2024) I have been REALLY struggling with this strong desire to "do something" politically I had the common white lady arc of disbelief, trauma response, chain me to something, anxious puttering, and so now I think I've found my place in the resistance

I didn't post about disability pride this year & while that wasn't precisely on purpose, I do want to acknowledge something before the month is over pride is not a brag it is a protest it's defiance it's confidence a celebration in opposition to oppression do not forget us the rest of the year

unfollowed someone (not in the field of psych) giving detailed instruction on how to obtain an ADHD diagnosis and stimulant medication if you believe you have ADHD all perfectly legal, nothing nefarious but pretty irresponsible & dangerous I AM sorry that my field sucks so bad at helping w/ this
