me personally, I found it pretty charming how Steven Universe transformed its big bads from space alien overlords into homophobic family members who you could convince to stop being homophobic. I thought it was fun.

think it's a good instinct not to dismiss Emily Wilson's review of Nolan's Odyssey out of hand just because it's a negative one. that being said, I don't think it's a very insightful review. being a classicist does not necessarily equip you to critique film!
