Toronto and Vancouver are having issues with cost / policing on pedestrian streets. How does it work in Montreal? Looks like Wellington Street costs about $900,000 for 1.3 km car-free for almost 4 months. Police exist but no “extra” presence. The street is not a major security concern.

Only 60.9% of patients with post-COVID-19 condition (aka long covid) successfully return to work after 3 or more months of leave. This means that 39% remain unable to return to work or require significant modifications to return at all!

The prevalence of long covid in Canada is estimated to be 3.5 to 4.6% of the population. The prevalence of cancer in Canada is in the range 1.8% of the population. Yet the media ignore long covid as if it’s not there at all! So shocking! We must talk about long covid and prevent it!

I am flabbergasted that journalists in Canada so obviously and blatantly ignore the massive impacts of Long COVID on the Canadian workforce! This is a consequence of repeated COVID infections in unprotected workplaces. A gigantic mass disabling event!
