not meant to be a jab at the DNC! largely about how frustrated I am with the priorities of candidates and fundraisers and outside pacs. we need to build infrastructure and there is just not momentum for it

this is my reminder that if you can donate to a place/organization that is your political home, your actual ~home~, you can often help employ people who are building power that you feel actually represents you

when you consider how in debt the DNC is, to how much money was spent to win a safe blue primary in NY-12, or how much is being spent IN a SWING state for a senate seat to stop a progressive from beating an establishment candidate, it's hard not to be cynical about money in politics!!!!
