I'm so glad I don't follow politics anymore. It makes me so unbelievably happy to see results come in and not know who or what any of it means.

I think watching cis people punish each other for standing up for trans people is the thing that scares me the most in this moment. I'm used to them treating us like garbage, but it's new to see them do it to each other. And once that gets normalized, what escalation towards us awaits?

I try not to follow the gory details, but am I wrong in recollecting that JK Rowling did her utmost to eliminate sexual assault shelters in the UK that accepted trans women, and then replaced them with sexual assault shelters that excluded us? Or was it only the second part?

Still not getting over the people who acted like trying to stop any of this from happening was an endorsement of genocide. Not ever getting over that.
