Bearcat CatbearGreat point about GenAI being seductive to folks new to TTRPGs. At least AI slop will be polished, right? But you can't develop your own skills that way—the growth is in the process. GenAI produces beginner's work effortlessly, but without all the painful effort, a beginner is all you'll ever be.
Me at 40, with an added side "thank god I'm past the age of being desirable to anyone." Obvs the concept of desirability and how it works with the current supremely fucked culture is more nuanced than that, but I'm happy that nobody expects me to try to be "sexy" anymore.
