This afternoon in the backyard: more crow and hawk disputes, wrens happily gobbling dried mealworms, a monarch napping on a dead echinacea, a hummi gbird on the clothesline, and a hungry bun bun.

One of our resident hummingbirds just hovered about 3 feet from my face for about 15 seconds. It was magical!
