I can't really speak to where Skybound Transformers has wound up, but that's mostly because I felt like I was watching it squander an explosive and refreshing first twelve issues just after they ended, and I have not been particularly swayed to reconsider

Wild King giving us the first year of a Transformers line in ... ever, to feature no Cybertrons or Destrons in the era of forever-G1 is honestly pretty (ahem) wild.
