BTW not a fan of Ai in writing at this time. It requires extreme caution and must be trained to know your voice aka style otherwise it kills creativity. WE need some strict guidelines for Ai use and responsible data storage. WE NEED A GLOBAL PLAN FOR THIS—WE DON’T EVEN HAVE STATE ONES YET!

8) as you write. I used to tell my students to think of telling a child about your project. They don’t know your math vocabulary but they can understand your project if explained to enable them too. Advanced students would do that then substitute vocab while defining if necessary, for older readers.
7) you may know that the WSJ is written for 7th grade reading level, most other media outlets aim for 3rd-6th. Expresswriters.com says the average adult reads at 8th grade level but still has difficulty with some concepts. It will help if you keep your audience and their reading level in your mind
